Cleaning

• This involves carefully removing dirt, biological growth such as calcium build-up due to hard water deposits, moss, or mildew, from the granite surface. It’s often done using non-abrasive tools and cleaners specifically made for outdoor use on stone.
• The goal is to bring the granite back to its natural color and texture.

Highlighting Lettering

• Over time, the painted parts of the stone (names, dates, epitaphs, and artwork) can fade.
• Re-highlighting involves reapplying color to these engraved letters, typically using paint specifically made for our industry.
• This makes the inscriptions stand out clearly again and enhances the beauty of the headstone to what it once was.
